Festival Exit


Exit is one of the biggest music festival in Southern Europe, which lasts for four days and it is held every year at the beginning of July in Novi Sad, Serbia. The festival is unique because it is held at the medieval, Petrovaradin ortress, leaning against the shore of the river Danube. Exit is also one of the rare music festivals where all events begin late at night, and the festival audience awaits the dawn and sunrise with the sounds of the various performers of the world.

Exit continues to be one of Europe's premier music festivals. Having attracted the likes of Snoop Dogg, Prodigy, Paul Weller, Arctic Monkeys, Moby, Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Garbage, Primal Scream, The Cardigans, Kraftwerk, Korn, Faith No More, Morrissey, Pet Shop Boys, Carl Cox, Jamiroquai, Beastie Boys, Pulp, Billy Idol, Portishead, and David Guetta, to name a few.

In 2007, the Association of the 70 largest festivals in Europe awarded Exit the "Best European Festival" of the year.

Exit supports' many community and humanitarian missions. The State of Exit Foundation was established in 2010 to support the reform of higher education in Serbia.

Confirmed headliners for 2012 include New Order, Gossip, Wolfmother, Richie Hawtin.
